Albert Group is on TV!

In May 2011 Albert Group Landscaping & Swimming Pools was invited to participate in DIY Networks' Turf War. Our team was comprised of top StoneMakers dealers from across the country. Also along for the ride was StoneMakers founder David Montoya. The weather was perfect and everyone was in a great mood.

Now many of you may not be familiar with StoneMakers and what it is, so let me run through a brief introduction.

The StoneMakers brand was founded by David Montoya and one of the first products he came up with was Wall Builder. Wall Builder is a hygroscopic (not to be confused with hydroscopic) additive that when added to concrete allows us to work with concrete as if it were clay. This allows us to build concrete retaining walls without using forms. Second in line is a product called Wall Finish. This is a product that brings some life back to rapidly drying concrete and gives a base for the color stain to bond to.

The StoneMakers color stain bonds very well to concrete treated with Wall Finish and coupled with StoneMakers sealer is extremely durable.

Also included in the StoneMakers system is LedgeFalls which consists of reinforced concrete panels that are perfect for making waterfalls. These panels are taken off molds that were molded off of actual rock. This adds an amazing level of realism to your projects.
